E-invoicing · Peppol

Belgian B2B e-invoicing is mandatory now. We connect your stack to Peppol.

Since 1 January 2026, structured electronic invoices between VAT-registered businesses in Belgium must travel over the Peppol network — a PDF by email no longer counts. We wire your existing tools into that network through proven access points, so compliance happens in the background and nobody re-types an invoice.

The mandate, in plain terms

Structured invoices, over one network.

What changes

PDF is no longer an invoice

Since 2026, B2B invoices between Belgian VAT-registered companies must be structured data (Peppol BIS / UBL), not a PDF or paper. Sent and received automatically, machine to machine.

How it moves

The Peppol network

Peppol is the EU exchange standard: your access point talks to your customer's access point. You keep working in the tools you already have — the network sits underneath.

Who it touches

Nearly every business

If you invoice other businesses in Belgium, this applies to you. The sooner your systems speak Peppol, the less it costs to switch — and the fewer invoices sit stuck.

We don't sell the network — we connect you to it, through partners who run certified access points.

How we connect you

Three routes onto Peppol.

Store orders onto Peppol

Invoices from your Shopify store flow onto Peppol through A-Cube's access point — no export, no re-keying, no separate portal to log into.

Send and receive inside BC

Structured invoices go out and come in straight from Business Central via a certified access point — matched to the right customer or vendor and posted automatically. An account with that platform provider is required for network access, and is sold separately from the app.

On our roadmap

Timesheets to compliant invoice

Approved timesheets in MijnUren become compliant e-invoices over Peppol through the same access point — the hours you tracked, billed correctly, in one step.

The mandate is here

Belgium's B2B e-invoicing rules are live. Are you?

Structured B2B e-invoicing over Peppol has been mandatory since January 2026 — if you're not on it yet, you're not alone, and it's a quick fix, not a crisis. Tell us what you invoice with today — Business Central, Shopify, MijnUren or something else — and you'll get a clear route onto Peppol with a scope and a timeframe, not a compliance scare and a retainer.
