Vangelder Solutions

About

A small family-owned studio in East Flanders.

Vangelder Solutions BV is run by Stephane Vangelder and his sons Pieter-Jan and Gert-Jan, from offices in Nieuwkerken-Waas, Belgium. Below — the people, their path, the company, the way to reach us.

The founders

Three names on the door.

PJ Pieter-Jan Vangelder — portrait

Pieter-Jan Vangelder

Co-founder · CEO, 360 Solutions

Pieter-Jan leads 360 Solutions with a clear commercial vision: connect platform capability directly to enterprise value. He drives strategy, builds customer relationships, and sets the direction for the brand's long-term growth.

SV Stephane Vangelder — portrait

Stephane Vangelder

Founder · Strategic Architect

An engineer who became an ERP practitioner and then an AI builder. Started in 1997 in mold-design engineering, moved through manufacturing purchasing and Microsoft Dynamics NAV implementations on the customer side, and in 2019 crossed to the implementation-partner side as a regional manager at an established Microsoft Dynamics partner. Founded Vangelder Solutions in 2023 with his sons. Still an engineer at heart — designs in Fusion 360, prints in 3D, and writes the MCP servers that the family company's products run on.

GJ Gert-Jan Vangelder — portrait

Gert-Jan Vangelder

Co-founder · Lead Engineer, 360 Solutions

Gert-Jan leads the technical evolution of the platform — from AI integrations and AL extensions to full-stack architecture. He is responsible for the product that enterprises deploy into production.

The founder's path

From mold design to MCP servers — thirty years in one continuous arc.

Most Microsoft consultancies start from the IT side and learn the customer's manufacturing world. Stephane Vangelder came the other way. Here's the path that ended up at Vangelder Solutions BV — and why it matters that the founder of a Microsoft Partner spent his first decade designing the moulds that make the products their customers actually sell.

1997

Tupperware Belgium · Aalst

Mould design engineer

Started his career in injection-mould design at Tupperware's Belgian manufacturing operation. Learned the discipline of parametric thinking, mould-flow analysis, and the unforgiving feedback loop of physical CAD where a wrong dimension means a scrapped tool. The engineer's instinct that still shapes how he designs software today started here.

2003

Deceuninck-Plastics · Plastics group

Purchaser & work-preparation manager, in-house toolshop

Moved into the operational side of manufacturing — running purchasing and production prep for Deceuninck's in-house toolshop. Learned the supply-chain and shop-floor reality of the same physical-product world he'd been designing for. ERP became part of daily life.

2007

Boucherie · Izegem

Lead buyer & project manager

Twelve years at Boucherie that included guiding the company through two Microsoft Dynamics NAV implementations — NAV 2009, then NAV 2017 — from the customer side. Not as an external consultant, but as the project manager owning the implementation, the buying decisions, and the daily reality of using the system afterwards. This is where the BC story actually started.

2019

Microsoft Dynamics partner · Regional manager

Regional manager

Crossed from customer-side BC user to the implementation-partner side of the Microsoft ecosystem — taking a regional-manager role at an established Microsoft Dynamics partner, launching their new regional office from scratch. Still active in the partner ecosystem today.

2019

Vangelder Consultancy

Independent BC advisory, alongside the day job

Started Vangelder Consultancy as an independent advisory practice the same year — not in competition with that partner role, but to take on the small custom-app and advisory work that fell outside a large implementation partner's natural scope.

2023

Vangelder Solutions BV

Family business with Pieter-Jan and Gert-Jan

Wound down Vangelder Consultancy and founded Vangelder Solutions BV with Pieter-Jan as co-director. The studio model — senior expertise, productized where it makes sense, custom-built when it doesn't, refer BC implementation to firms that do it well.

Today

Still an engineer at heart

Fusion 360 · 3D printing · MCP servers

Designs parametric tooling in Fusion 360, prints it on a 3D printer in his workshop, and writes the MCP servers that turn his Fusion designs into something Claude can drive on behalf of customers. The Fusion 360 Rim Designer in 360 Solutions' portfolio is the clearest single artifact of how this whole arc fits together — engineering, ERP, and AI as one continuous discipline.

“Most of what we build at Vangelder Solutions is software. But I think about it the way I learned to think about moulds — every dimension is load-bearing, every surface meets another surface for a reason, and you don't ship anything until the geometry actually works.”
— Stephane Vangelder
